Adult Education We have materials and resources available to small groups, individuals and for classes. The materials are available through the office. We also offer classes here at the church.

Our Southside Children's Ministry provides a safe and fun environment for our children to learn about God's love. Every classroom is a place for connecting kids with their creator. Our staff is passionate about using music, games, age appropriate activities and plenty of fun for communicating Christ's love for each child. Be assured that while you are in worship service, your children are a part of a caring "kid-munity" taking the next step in their faith. Parents can be reached at any time by our classroom teachers. Age specific rooms for kids birth through kindergarten are located along the hallways on our first floor, and kids grades 1 through 6 meet in the loft on the second floor. | Decoration Ministry is in charge of the decoration of the church. We have 6 main decoration times Easter, Spring, Summer, Fall, Christmas, and Winter. Do you see things with a different Perspective? Do you love to decorate or have creative thoughts and ideas. Are you willing to help with lifting and climbing. We meet about 10 times a year to plan and decorate. If this is the ministry that God is calling you to, come and join the Decoration Ministry here at Southside Christian Church. The Welcome Center / Information Booth ministry's purpose is two-fold. First, the ministry provides a welcome center for visitors, to make them feel at home and to answer any questions they may have. Second, the ministry provides a centralized place where people can find out about and sign up for various activities / ministries of the church. Missions This committee is founded on the concept of assisting our church in penetrating the world outside of the reach of the members of our church body. We do this by helping to fund ministries not otherwise directly associated with our church throughout the world. We help to educate the members of our church, and the community about the movement of Christ throughout the world. We also assist members of our church in getting personally involved through assistance to these ministries which can be provided from home, or on going to the missions field. Members or our church and the member of God's Church as a whole are encouraged to consider missions service both as a full time missionary, and as a part of a short term missions team. | |

Outreach The purpose of the Outreach ministry is to provide help to people in our church family, or others we might be trying to minister to, who could use a helping hand. This could be after surgery, childbirth, etc. or for ongoing serious medical conditions. Senior Saints Flock Group is made up of the interested senior citizens of the church. We meet to study the bible. We are available to send cards to the shut-ins, visitation, phone calls, help with crafts, pray and answer questions from the younger people in the church. We are a fun loving group and like to go on sight seeing trips and eat out. Come help us grow. Our aim for the next year is to grow large enough that we will need to ask for a larger room at the church to meet. Meets every Wednesday morning at Southside. For more questions call 824-9202. |

The Women's Ministry of Southside Christian Church is called Ladies of Grace In Christ (LOGIC). This ministry helps women to develop a growing faith in Christ, as well as to provide an environment in which each can find their own "place of loving service" among this church family. We believe that prayer, the study of God's Word, and serving others strongly contribute to spiritual maturing. And we yearn to be available, honorable vessels that God uses to impact those who have not yet understood God's love; thereby drawing those seeking Him into His kingdom. LOGIC is open to all women of our church. Whether you are a guest, you have been visiting regularly or are long time member, we have a place for you to grow as a follower of the Lord Jesus.
